Back with the new powerful single “Bomb Bomb,” KARD definitely had a lot to talk about during its TwitterBlueRoom Live session in Seoul, such as its new release, world tours and bandmates’ favorite food.

However, all these topics appeared to boil down to one issue, even sparking fervent debate among fans: Jseph’s new hairdo.

The co-ed group’s live broadcast, which took place in Seoul on Monday evening, kicked off with the members calmly answering to Twitter questions about “Bomb Bomb,” a fierce moombahton dance track released last week.

Asked how long it took the band to learn new choreography for the song, BM, who hails from Los Angeles, said, “It didn’t take us that much of time, actually.”

Agreeing with the Korean-American member, Jiwoo said, “We practiced really hard this time, right until the night before our comeback. But our previous dance moves were much harder.”

“The worst was ‘Push and Pull’ -- it was like hell. We got burnt out within a week. When onstage, we used to turn around and pant during BM’s rapping part,” she added.

After several more questions about the group’s return, the topic of Jseph’s long hairstyle came up.

The singer, who used to have clean-cut hair, received a question about whether he liked his new look.

Seeking his bandmates’ opinions, he said, “I grew out my hair for the new album. I personally like it. How about you guys?”

As Somin and Jiwoo said they preferred his short hairstyle, BM suggested, “OK, maybe we should start a debate. Long-hair Jseph or short-hair Jseph?”

Right after his suggestion, fans flocked to Twitter with the trending hashtags #LongHairJseph and #ShortHairJseph. The social media site started a poll for fans with two options, open until Wednesday.

As the voting attracted over 1,400 fans in only 15 minutes, Jseph -- looking surprised by fans’ active participation -- declared, “Whichever wins, I will change my hair according to fans’ preference,” though he jokingly reminded fans that Monday marked April Fools’ Day.

KARD went on to talk about how it spends its free time while on world tours.

Somin answered that she always visits local supermarkets to try local food, while Jiwoo said she usually tries to step out of the hotel and explore surroundings.

“When I go to Brazil, I always eat acai. It’s so delicious,” Jiwoo said. Somin also shared that she adores Brazilian jelly.

Asked about their favorite part of being KARD, the bandmates got emotional looking back on their early days.

“That’s a question that makes us look back on our bygone days. My favorite thing about being KARD is that I can meet Hidden Kards (KARD’s fandom) and that I became my parents’ pride,” said Jseph.

“I still remember our first fan meeting, where I got so touched by our first fan in line, who was Japanese. We’d thought we would have less than 20 people at the event, but so more people came to see us,” he added.

Despite the act’s effort to end the discussion over Jseph’s hairstyle, the group couldn’t help but bring up the topic throughout the conversation after seeing fans’ excitement.

The band finally ended up promising a Twitter live broadcast Wednesday to announce the result of the voting.

KARD wrapped up the Q&A session by promoting its upcoming solo concert in Seoul, set to be held on April 27 in Seoul.

The fun-filled broadcast racked up over 550,000 viewers worldwide.

KARD’s BlueRoom live broadcast can be viewed again via the band’s official Twitter account, @KARD_Official.
