V Live, a livestreaming platform used by many K-pop stars and celebrities, is in the midst of a weeklong ‘‘re:memVer party,’ from Monday through Saturday, celebrating the global top 10 V Live stars.
The first three groups of award recipients -- BTS, GOT7 and WJSN -- aired a special live broadcast in which they reflected on 2018 alongside fans.

BTS
BTS was the winner in four categories: best artist, best channel, best V original and video of the year.
Members of the K-pop septet shared their most memorable videos in 2018, including the V Live-exclusive variety show “Run BTS!”

“We very much enjoy shooting ‘Run BTS!’ It is great that fans enjoy watching us having fun,” Jimin said.
Another member V chose the picnic episodes (episodes No. 53-56) as his favorite to rewatch.

“The picnic was such great fun. I will never forget the time we played badminton together,” he said.
As members shared their best episodes, Jin dropped a spoiler for a future episode, saying his best has not yet aired.
RM added, “A new episode that will top all previous episodes will come out.”

Jungkook revealed that he got really drunk after their meetup at a makgeolli bar (Korean traditional rice wine) aired live on V.
“I crawled home that night,” he said. J-Hope added, “It was fortunate that you got home.”
As the topic moved to what they want to try on V, Jin said his proposal for a live eating show with the big boss --CEO of Big Hit Entertainment Bang Si-hyuk -- was nixed about two months ago.

Suga recalled the band, then a rookie group, filming a congratulatory video message on the launch of V Live in 2015.
“Back then, nobody thought we would be successful. I think V and BTS grew together to this day,” he said.

GOT7
BOT7 was the winner in two categories: global artist top 10 and best channel.
Five members of the seven-piece band reflected on 2018 on V Live, laughing and talking while watching a highlight video, which included a freestyle rap session in a Macau hotel room, a swimming-pool livestream and “Lie V,” the V-original live show aired in bed. Jackson and Jinyoung couldn’t join the livestream.

Regarding the Aug. 27 swimsuit livestream, the members revealed that the pool was actually for children.

“It was a children’s pool, with water just about our waist,” JB said.
“It was even warm,” Youngjae added.
As for their “Lie V” appearance, which contrary to its original concept of a relaxing time right before bedtime was full of energy and fun, the members revealed that they were too excited to go on holiday after the broadcast.
“It was our last official schedule in ‘Lullaby’ promotions. We went crazy,” BamBam said.
Mark said: “I remember JB saying in his solo broadcast, ‘I am not cute. I am sexy."

All the members agreed that the most memorable moment was when Mark came up with the line “I didn’t fart” during the freestyle rap session.

WJSN
WJSN, or Cosmic Girls, made it to V Live’s global top 10 list for the first time in 2018.
The 13-piece girl group hosted their “re:memVer party" on Monday, which coincided with the third anniversary of its debut.

“It is such a great way to spend the anniversary,” Luda said.
Exy said livestreaming is not easy.
“We may have looked comfortable doing V, but I do get nervous before starting a livestream.”
Watching their highlights video, members said that looking back, they had almost always gone on the V app to mark memorable days and events.
“These V Live videos hold previous memories for us, too,” Bona said.
Exy added that between album releases or when they have nothing scheduled, she tends to get anxious, worrying that they may be forgotten.

“At those times, V Live was the means for me to connect with fans. I am thankful for that,” she said.
