Jennie of Blackpink and EXO’s Kai have broken up just weeks after pictures began circulating of the two dating according to an exclusive report.

SBS funE reported Friday afternoon that the two, one of the biggest power couples in K-pop, decided to go their separate ways.

The entertainment channel cited a source close to Kai, who told the media outlet that the two would remain as just fellow colleagues in the industry, as they have “more work to do,” becoming one of K-pop’s shortest-lived couples.

The unexpected decision comes nearly a month after their relationship was first confirmed, which sent K-pop fans on Twitter into a frenzy in the wake of the revelation.
