Behind Monsta X’s performance at "SBS Gayo Daejun”

Monsta X shared a behind-the-scenes video of its performance on SBS TV’s year-end music show “SBS Gayo Daejun 2018” on Christmas Day.

The clip, released via V Live on Wednesday, shows Shownu getting prepped for a prerecording session.

“I am going to perform 2PM’s ‘Again & Again’ with Wonho and members of other bands,” said Shownu, clad in a black see-through shirt.

The video also captures Wonho, wearing a see-through shirt of a different design, discussing his onstage moves with Shownu.

Another member, Jooheon, shared what he did the previous day, Christmas Eve, while waiting for his performance.

“I had great fun yesterday with Minhyuk and Hyugwon,” he said.

The three visited a local food festival, went shopping, experienced virtual reality, played an indoor baseball game and even did some bowling -- all in one day -- he continued.

“We did a lot. I think it was the best possible date one could have on Christmas Eve.”

The 13-mintue clip ends with the seven members taking a group photo together in casual outfits after the event was over.

The 13-piece act livestreamed backstage of the Seoul Music Awards 2019, after receiving Bonsang, or the main award.

Fans wanted to know about the group’s upcoming album as the track list was unveiled earlier in the day.

The group’s sixth EP, “You Made My Dawn,” will drop Monday at 6 p.m.

“Yes, the lead track is called ‘Home,” he said. “I took part in its composition,” he added, refraining from revealing more details about the song or the EP.

According to label Pledis Entertainment, “Home” is an urban rhythm-and-blues tune.

Topics shifted quickly as Park tried to answer fans’ questions from his favorite hair color to the age he had his ears pierced.

“I like watching YouTube videos. I also watch reaction videos of our performances,” he said.

Wanna One members are beginning solo activities, with some opening individual social media accounts and airing solo V Live broadcasts, as the project group nears the end of its activities.

Formed in 2017 with finalists of audition show “Produce 101 Season 2,” the 11-piece group officially disbanded on Dec. 31, 2018, although it still has concerts to perform later this month.
