The finale show, held at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul on Sunday, was filled with 31 hit songs from the 2000s, when the group’s popularity peaked. There were also live performances of some of the tracks on its latest album “Then&Now,” released Thursday.

A highlight of the event was a surprise for fans. Messages of appreciation toward fans were flashed on electronic boards, while actor Jang Hyuk, an old friend of the group, appeared as a surprise guest.

The band, which debuted in 1999, is considered one of the first-generation idol bands here, along with Shinhwa, Sechs Kies, Fin.K.L and S.E.S, which led the thriving K-pop scene in the early 2000s.
