The third soundtrack for SBS network’s TV series “The Last Empress,” sung by Kei of Lovelyz, is getting released in a digital single format Thursday.

“The Last Empress” stars Jang Na-ra as its female lead. Jang, who originally debuted as a singer, made a successful transition into an actress a year after she entered the entertainment industry in 2001. The series re-imagines modern-day Korea as a constitutional monarchy.

Kei, as Lovelyz’s leading vocalist, previously lent her voice to soundtracks of multiple TV series, including MBC’s “The Emperor: Owner of the Mask,” KBS’ “Queen of Mystery” and MBN’s “Rich Man.”

The eight-piece girl group dropped its winter-themed EP “Sanctuary” on Nov. 26.

Premiered on Nov. 21, “The Last Empress” airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 p.m.
