Jessica left Girls’ Generation in 2014 to pursue a career in fashion. When asked if she regretted her decision for a major change in her career, she responded she is “not the type to wallow in regrets.”
“(Working in fashion) has been my longtime goal and dream. I’ve met the perfect team at the perfect timing and we share the same vision,” said the 29-year-old. Jessica is the owner and head designer at a brand she created.
“I’m enjoying the process of slowly turning my dream into a reality. I don’t want to rush anything,” she said.
The former Girls’ Generation star said her younger sister Krystal, 24, of girl group f(x), is a big part of the reason she is doing so well right now.
“Krystal is my mentor in so many ways,” she said, adding, that she and her sister “inspire each other.”
Two years after parting ways with Girls’ Generation, Jessica debuted solo in 2016 in her first EP, “With Love, J.”
