With the 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards in Japan just a day away, K-pop groups boarded a Tokyo-bound plane Tuesday morning to attend the much-anticipated event in Saitama.

Acts such as Twice, IZ*ONE, Mamamoo, NU’EST W, Chungha and Sunmi were spotted at Gimpo Airport, waiting for their flight to Tokyo.

The members of Twice wore various outbound outfits, pairing stylish coats with jeans or black pants.

The members of Mamamoo opted for long coats in distinct designs and colors, with Solar sporting a furry one and Moonbyul cutting a classic collared gray one.

Pursuing unity, the IZ*ONE bandmates bundled up in matching white padded jackets, while the NU’EST W bandmates looked chic and edgy in oversized coats.

Having successfully wrapped up its Seoul leg Monday at Dongdaemun Design Plaza, MAMA will continue at Japan’s Saitama Super Arena on Wednesday and Hong Kong’s AsiaWorld-Expo on Friday.

Titled “2018 MAMA Fans’ Choice in Japan,” the Japanese ceremony will be hosted by Park Bo-gum and feature acts like BTS, Twice, Wanna One, Monsta X, IZ*ONE, Mamamoo, NU’EST W and Stray Kids.
