BTOB’s Changsub previews 1st solo album

BTOB member Lee Changsub dropped audio snippets of his first solo album, “Mark,” via V Live Monday, ahead of its scheduled release Tuesday.

The six-track record will be the singer’s last before his military enlistment next month.

Lee took part in the making of each and every track, either as a co-composer or a lyricist. For the title track “Gone,” he penned the lyrics.

The singer will appear on V Live’s Rooftop Live program at 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Lee will begin his mandatory military service from Jan. 14 next year, his agency Cube Entertainment said earlier. He will be the second member of BTOB to enlist, following Seo Eun-kwang who started his duty in August. Other members are set to follow suit.

In another video uploaded Sunday on BTOB’s V Live channel, Lee poses for album jacket photos in front of the day’s photographer -- bandmate Peniel.

“I don’t know how the photos will turn out, but please look forward to them,” Peniel said.

Peniel has so far held two photo exhibitions of his own.

NCT sends greetings from Thailand

Eleven members of SM Entertainment’s boy band NCT aired a V Live broadcast from a hotel room in Thailand on Sunday.

“We’re in Thailand. We had a very nice performance today,” Taeyong said at the start of the livestream.

The group talked about topics ranging from watermelon to the alma matar of member Ten who hails from Thailand.

Some members wanted to have watermelon so much they asked for it as soon as they came down the stage, they revealed.

The bandmates recalled Jaehyun’s birthday party in Thailand.

“Whenever I think of Thailand, I am reminded of my 20th birthday party here” Jaehyun said. Taeyong and other members talked about the impressive multi-layered chocolate cake at the party, which the members ate for days.

Yubin appears on ‘LieV’

Singer Yubin appeared on this week’s “LieV” on Sunday night, communicating with fans while lying in bed.

LieV is V Live’s original program in which celebrities air a live broadcast from bed.

“As for sleep, I am blessed. I have never had any problem with sleeping. I always sleep well,” the former Wonder Girls member said.

She conversed with fans via V app, answering fans’ questions on topics and shared with fans her favorite nighttime songs.

Yubin is currently promoting her second solo album “TUSM,” released Nov. 27, and its title track “Thank U Soooo Much.”
