Hwang Min-hyun of Wanna One appeared on cable network JTBC’s talk show “Ask Us Anything” on Saturday, during which he talked about his sister, who may have recently jumped on the EXO-L bandwagon.

“I have a sister who is a year older than me,” Hwang said, adding that he and his sister “don’t talk very often.”

“Then recently, to my surprise, I got a text from my sister that said: ‘Will you ever let me meet Mr. Do Kyung-soo?’” the Wanna One star said.

When one of the show’s hosts asked why she had suddenly asked to meet EXO’s vocalist and budding actor, Hwang replied that she had become “smitten with D.O. after watching him on a TV series.”

He said he declined his sister’s request, explaining that even if he were close to D.O., he couldn’t arrange that for her.

Unfortunately for Hwang’s sister, it appears that being a sibling of a Wanna One member did not give her enough leverage to meet D.O. in person.
