Yuju will return to GFriend after a monthlong hiatus from the group’s activities.

Representing the singer, the management agency Source Music confirmed her return, saying, “Nothing is wrong, Yuju will resume her group activities in December.”

According to the local media, the singer is currently resting and taking time off to recharge.

Yuju was first absent from GFriend’s performance at the Pohang K-Pop Festival on Oct. 27. Fans had been concerned when the group’s November schedule revealed that Yuju would be absent from all activities.

GFriend released the EP “Sunny Summer” on July 19. Yuju individually released “Cramming” as part of songwriter Yoon Jong-shin’s monthly music project on Nov. 9.
