Girl group Gugudan shared with fans how to properly cheer during its new single “Not That Type.”

Members of the eight-piece group were excited to be in front of the camera after recently releasing the single from its new album “Act.5 New Action” and the accompanying music video.

Bandmate Hana said the group wanted to teach fans how to cheer them on the right way as they will soon perform the new song “Not That Type” on music programs, before warning the song is fast-paced and the complementary cheer could be difficult.

Nayoung said being energetic is most important before getting into the logistics of live performance cheering.

The group showed off how to sing along to “Not That Type,” singing in unison, “Gugudan, Not That Type” and other bits of the chorus.

As the bandmates acknowledged the offbeat tune is not easy to sing to, Hana told fans not to miss expressions like “Hoo” and “Aha.”
