[V Report Plus] Andy picks top Shinhwa ballads

Veteran boy band Shinhwa’s Andy has picked his favorite ballad songs from each of the group’s LPs for fans after promising to do so during his “Andy’o Open Studio #4.”
Following are some of Andy’s choices among the hundreds of Shinhwa tracks.

The subtrack of LP “The Solver,” released in 1998, was Andy’s first choice.
Reminiscing about the past, he said nothing, but listened to the song quietly staring in the air.

Another subtrack was picked as one of Andy’s favorite ballad songs among Shinhwa’s many tracks.
“I remember there was a video made like a music video that included all the shows, practices and performances we participated in in 2000 with this song playing in the background,” he said. “Looking at those videos, we used to reminiscence about what past days were like.”

“I really liked the music video of this track,” Andy said excitedly. “Hyesung acted well in the video. The music video was made like a movie.”
“Angel” was the lead track of album “Brand New,” which also included a title track.

“Star” was picked off of the group’s latest LP, “Unchanging-Touch.”
“When we sang this song in Taiwan, fans lighted up their phones in a way to send us support and those lights shined like stars,” Andy said. “It will be a memory that we will never be able to forget. Thank you for making us so happy.”
