Twice dropped a highlight medley of upcoming album “Yes or Yes” on V Live at midnight Saturday, ahead of the scheduled release Monday.
The K-pop girl group’s latest teaser offers listening snippets -- 30 seconds to 1 minute each -- of new songs against a video showing the bandmates doing a photo shoot for the album’s cover.
The mini album, the sixth since its debut in 2015, features seven songs, from the title track to a Korean version of “BDZ,” the already-popular lead track from Twice’s first Japanese studio album released in September. The rest are “Say You Love Me,” “LaLaLa,” “Young & Wild,” “Sunset” and “After Moon.”
Title track “Yes or Yes” was composed by David Amber and Andy Love and arranged by Amber. Its lyrics, by Shim Eun-ji, demand agreement to a confession of love.
Jeongyeon, Chaeyoung and Jihyo took part in the album, writing lyrics for “LaLaLa,” “Young & Wild” and “Sunset,” respectively, according to the latest teaser.
Twice is to hold a showcase in Seoul on Monday. The album’s online release is scheduled for 6 p.m. the same day.
