NU’EST W to release last album in November as unit
Four-piece NU’EST W will return with a new EP in November.
The group is a subunit of NU’EST with “W” referring to the “wait” for the band’s on-hiatus member.
Representing the act, Pledis Entertainment said Thursday that NU’EST W has been preparing for the new EP, which will come about five months after the EP “Who, You” in June.
Unfortunately, the upcoming EP will be the subunit’s last EP following project boy band Wanna One’s disbandment at the end of the year. Hwang Min-hyun, currently a vocalist of Wanna One, will return to his role as a member of NU’EST.
After debuting with the EP “W, Here” featuring the lead track “Where You At” in October last year, the band topped Korean music charts with its hit single “Dejavu,” the lead track off its second EP “Who, You” in June.
NU’EST won the Discovery of the Year award at the Mnet Asian Music Awards and the best entertainment award at the Asia Artist Awards last year.
