The Dubai Fountain will stage a show featuring K-pop boy band EXO’s music throughout September.

“Due to popular demand, ‘Power’ by EXO will play at 8:00 p.m. at Dubai Fountain in #DowntownDubai throughout September,” said Downtown Dubai by Emaar, the organizer of the fountain show, in a tweet on Tuesday.

The first show featuring EXO’s song “Power” took place in January and was extended to March due to popular demand. The group is the first K-pop act to be featured in the show.

The light-and-water show features the world’s largest choreographed fountain with water patterns moving with precision to popular songs from around the world.

Pop classics such as “All Night Long” by Lionel Richie and “Thriller” by Michael Jackson are part of the set list.

In January, EXO visited Dubai to celebrate the fountain show. The band was greeted with swarms of fans and drew the attention of local media.

EXO’s popularity in Dubai was proved again when the band got its own LED show displayed on Dubai’s landmark skyscraper Burj Khalifa in July. The show featured images of each member for a total of around three minutes.

The boy band became the first ever non-royal figures to be projected on the high rise, as all previous figures had been royalty from the seven Gulf countries.
