‘Celebrity tutor’ Vernon of Seventeen discusses his lesson plan

Vernon of Seventeen is coming to students’ rescue.

The New York native is turning into an English tutor for Mnet’s new reality show, in which K-pop stars tutor teenage students.

“With my tutorial, you can score perfect on your tests,” Vernon advertised, adding, “I’m very hot. Some even say I look like Leonardo DiCaprio.

“I think I’ll be teaching practical expressions that you can use in daily conversations,” explained Vernon at a press conference for the show.

Sunmi concert tickets sell out in 30 seconds

Sunmi is releasing a new EP, “Warning,” on Sept. 4, eight months after “Heroine.” Its lead track will be titled “Siren.”

Tickets to the former Wonder Girls star’s showcase concert went on sale Tuesday at 8 p.m. and sold out within 30 seconds.

The concert will take place on the day of the EP’s release, at 8 p.m. at Ewha University’s Samsung Hall.
