Rock music duo Norazo has come back to the music scene after 3 1/2 years with a new member and a new single.

“Cider” is the first single to be released by the revamped band now consisting of original member Jo Bin and new member Won Heum. The duo went back to its musical roots -- rock-based dance music.

“The new song captures the essence of everything about the duo. I’m excited and nervous at the same time,” Jo Bin said during a showcase in Seoul on Tuesday.

The lyrics of the song are in line with the title as the group goes through dishes that go well with cider, which refers to a soft drink similar to Sprite in taste, not to be confused with apple cider.

Plugging the fizzy soft drink throughout the song and the accompanying video, Jo proudly expressed his wish to film a commercial, preferably for a major brand that uses packaging similar to that in the duo’s single cover and the video.

When asked about the group’s member reshuffle, Jo said he had been eyeing Won for some time since Jo and former member Lee began to focus on their solo projects.

Jo added Lee left the group to focus on his music career and denied rumors that the two had fallen out.

Won Heum, who joined the group in early August, said he recently met with the former member Lee Hyuk and was surprised to see how similar the two looked.

The single is the duo’s first work since their last single “Ni pal ja ya (Your fortune)” in February 2015.

The single and its music video are now available on multiple music platforms.
