Actress Kim So-hyun will take a trip to the US on an upcoming reality show.

According to Kim’s agency on Tuesday, Life Time’s new variety show “First Time As a 20-year-old” will center on Kim’s journey in California as she travels the US state by herself. The program will especially focus on how Kim, who has recently turned 20, makes efforts to find her true self through the travel, as well as sharing hands-on experience and information with viewers. It will be Kim’s first reality show appearance in 1 1/2 years.

The program will air its first episode at the end of September through YouTube, Facebook and Naver TV.

Kim, who began her career as a child actress in 2006, shot to stardom with hit drama series “Moon Embracing the Sun” in 2012. After winning an award for best child actress for her role in “Missing You” in 2012, she went on to star in drama series “Who Are You: School 2015” in 2015 and “The Emperor: Owner of the Mask” last year.
