Korean singer and YouTube legend Psy has ranked among Billboard’s top 20 music videos chart.

US-based Billboard announced that Psy’s megahit “Gangnam Style” took the No. 12 spot among its “100 Greatest Music Videos of the 21st Century.” Psy secured the highest slot among Asian artists in the chart.

Billboard said, “It’s unbelievable that it’s been over 5 years since the billion-view music video was released. The music video worked as a key figure for people to turn their eyes to Korea’s music industry.”

The song ranked second on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart in 2012, staying there for seven weeks. As of Thursday, the “Gangnam Style” music video has garnered more than 3.18 billion views on YouTube.
