In the 56th episode of “Run BTS!” BTS members sat around a camp fire and had a real heart-to-heart moment.

The seven boys channeled their inner poets and took turns reading out poems that they had written about their bandmates. The following are The Korea Herald’s English translations from Korean.

Jungkook - “Gold”

Everything touched by the raindrops turned into gold

I was a boy who couldn’t do anything by himself
And then I met you at a golden time of my life

I started to shine

At first, I thought I was golden
But when I looked around, I realized that I was surrounded by gold

Jimin - “What it means to be together”

It’s difficult being together

We met as strangers, as people who are very different from each other
Being together means constantly worrying if I’d made mistakes, trying to understand the other

But when we’re not together, it feels empty
When I’m happy or sad, when I need support, I somehow end up thinking of you

We are now together in the name of “we”
We now share even the littlest things
I begin to hope nothing would ever hurt you

Today’s sun sets again and here we are again, together

V’s half-buzz haircut
Jungkook’s doe-eyes and skinny jeans
Hoseok’s down jacket
Yoongi’s blue sweatpants
The days before Seokjin started digging oudated jokes
Jimin before he got skinny
The riverside park, the bicycle ride
Our V-neck T-shirts
Our first showcase
The bulgogi dinner
Our seats in the waiting room
And our blood, sweat and tears

All of these memories are stored in the innermost drawer in my mind
My most treasured memories
They always come first, like the letter A of the alphabet

But we can’t go against the natural flow
I watch myself age
I look at our choreography
