Red Velvet’s Seulgi shared the beginning of her friendship with Suzy on JTBC’s “Secret Sister,” a reality show that airs every Friday at 8:30 p.m.

“Were you friends with Suzy when she was a trainee?” Seulgi asked Sunmi, as the latter works with the same music agency, JYP Entertainment, as the former Miss A star.

“I think I was already in the US with Wonder Girls when Suzy was still a trainee,” replied Sunmi.

“I went to the same school with her. We took the same classes,” Seulgi said, evoking surprise on Sunmi’s part. When asked if she and Suzy were close at that time, the Red Velvet star said no.

“We never had the chance,” Seulgi explained, as both were busy working.

Suzy and Seulgi share a special bond, as they are both 23-year-old K-pop stars and went to the same arts high school.
