“Girl Cops” is to be an investigative comedy about Mi-young, played by Ra, who used to be a legendary detective but now works in the Public Service Center after getting married.

She meets Ji-hye, a rookie detective played by Lee, who is appointed to the same center for causing trouble in her previous department. By chance the two women come together to solve a criminal case.

Formerly of girl group Girls’ Generation, Choi stars as Mi-young’s foul-mouthed colleague Jang-mi and Yoon plays Mi-young’s husband.

According to producers, “Girl Cops” will open in theaters next year.
