A Seoul City advertisement starring BTS will be screened at one of China’s top tourist stops and most sacred mountains, Mt. Tai, the Seoul metropolitan government announced Monday.

The 30-second-long advertisement will be on display on ten large-sized LED advertising boards built at the most visible spots surrounding the area, including the ticket booth, entry to and exit from the mountain. Mt. Tai, the eastern mountain of the Five Great Mountains of China, is considered China’s most famous Taoist mountain. An estimated 8 million annual visitors frequent the UNESCO world heritage site, which is why the advertisement is expected to attract a lot of foreign tourists during its 6-month-long screening starting Wednesday.

Dubbed “BTS’ Life in Seoul,” the advertisement features Seoul’s major tourist attraction stops, eateries, both daytime and nightlife activities. BTS members picnic at the riverside park along the Han River, enjoy the night view from a Gangnam hotel and party at a fried-chicken-and-beer pub.

“With K-pop’s soaring popularity in China, we expect the promotion clip starring BTS to attract a lot of tourist attention at Mt. Tai,” said Seoul government director of tourism business division Kim Tae-myoung.
