Cable channel tvN’s romantic comedy “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” moved up one notch to claim the top spot on the weekly TV chart, data showed Tuesday.

The story of the tantalizing romance between a secretary and her egocentric boss recorded a score of 267 on the weekly Content Power Index for June 11-17.

Lee Young-joon, vice chairman of Yu Myung Group, played by Park Seo-joon, considers himself too perfect to date a less-than-ordinary girl. So he has never seriously dated anyone.

His perfectionist secretary, Kim Mi-so, played by Park Min-young, is tired of being on call day and night. She’s supported her family ever since her father was swindled and resorted to private loans. She decides to quit living for others and sets out to find her own life.

The 16-part drama is based on the popular novel of the same name by Jang Kyung-yoon. The online novel was viewed 50 million times in total. It was also made into an online comic, or “webtoon,” as the format is known in South Korea, that garnered more than 200 million views.

Cable music channel Mnet’s new idol competition show, “Produce 48,” claimed the No. 2 spot on the chart.

The project is aimed at auditioning talented performers from South Korea and Japan to put together a girl group through audience voting. The show premiered on June 15 on Mnet and Japan’s BS Scapa simultaneously.

The program, first unveiled in “2017 MAMA in Japan” in November, is a collaboration between Mnet’s popular audition program “Produce 101” and Yasushi Akimoto, who produced AKB48.
