K-pop stars dazzle New York

K-pop acts Red Velvet, Super Junior, Pentagon, Heize and Stray Kids gathered for the annual KCON New York event on Saturday (local time).

The K-pop artists were on the lineup for the first day of the biggest Korean culture and music festival in North America.

This year’s KCON New York is held on Saturday and Sunday at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Wanna One, NCT 127, Golden Child, fromis_9 and EXID are set to perform on Sunday.

KCON has been held annually since 2012, both in New York and Los Angeles. KCON 2018 Los Angeles is slated for Aug. 10-12, where Seventeen, Chung Ha, Momoland and other artists have been confirmed to perform.
