Sana, Momo, Dahyun and Tzuyu of Twice went live on Naver’s V app Saturday.

“Sana is putting scary makeup on Momo,” Momo narrated for the viewers. “Everyone, please don’t quit being my fan for this,” she added, half-jokingly.

Sana worked on Momo’s makeup throughout the first half of the broadcast.

“We wanted to talk to Once (Twice’s fandom name) before we go to bed,” the quartet said, trying to fix the camera at a fan’s complaint that the broadcast is “lagging.”

The tri-national girl band debuted in 2015 through the survival audition show “Sixteen” co-produced by Mnet and JYP Entertainment. Their debut single “Like OOH-AAH” became an instant hit, achieving the so-called “all-kill” status on all major Korean music charts.

April livestreamed on Naver’s V app Saturday from a concert held ahead of the South Korea vs. Mexico World Cup match. The concert venue was located at Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Square, where locals gather for big national events.

“I hope you can hear us,” April said, trying to speak above all the noise.

“I remember during the match with Sweden I was so nervous I felt like my heart was going to pop outside my body,” said Naeun.

The members also discussed what food they were going to snack on while watching the match. “Fried chicken is a really popular choice,” said Chaewon.

The broadcast which spanned for eight minutes could not last longer due to the crowd roaring.

Yuna, Seolhyun and Chanmi of AOA held a mini karaoke session inside the van.

“Wow, there’re already 22 people watching this, so cool,” said Chanmi, a couple of minutes into the broadcast. She played with the camera’s filter to make it “more vivid” for the viewers.

Then the youngest member of AOA started jamming out to her favorite songs, soon to be joined by Yuna and Seolhyun.

AOA’s most recent single “Bingle Bangle” is the group’s first release since the departure of the leading vocalist Choa last June. Choa, a key member of the group, disheartened many fans with her decision to leave the entertainment business.
