Twice’s 2nd tour in Singapore ‘twice’ as big as the last

The massively popular K-pop girl band Twice held a conference in Singapore on Saturday, which was broadcast on Naver’s V app.

“What are your thoughts performing at a venue twice as large as the one you performed at last time?” asked the emcee. “It’s an honor for us that we got to meet our Singaporean fans again after a year,” replied Nayeon. “We are really looking forward to tomorrow’s concert.”

When asked how their second concert in Singapore is different from the first one, Jihyo replied that “for one thing, we have a lot more songs released now than the last time we were here. I hope you will enjoy them.”

“Is there one particular song that you like performing the most?” the emcee asked.

“‘Only You’ is always very exciting to perform,” replied Tzuyu. “I think it’s because fans sing along with us when we perform that song.”

The nine-member girl band formed under JYP Entertainment flied to Singapore on Saturday for their second concert “Twice 2ND TOUR ‘TwiceLAND ZONE 2 : Fantasy Park’ IN SINGAPORE.”

fromis_9 held a regular fan meeting event dubbed “Promise Meeting” in celebration of its newly released album, “To. Day.” Released on June 5, the new EP lists six tracks in total, fronted by the lead track “DKDK.”

The nine girls thanked their fans for coming.

“I was told today (by a fan) that I am the reason that he lives,” said Saerom.

“One fan changed the lyrics to one of our songs and sang for me,” said Hayoung. “I was so touched.”

“To all those who weren’t able to come today, I hope you will be coming to the next ‘Promise Meeting,’” Saerom told the viewers. “We’ll be waiting,” said Chaeyoung.

fromis_9 is a girl band formed by CJ E&M with Lee Sae-rom, Song Ha-young, Jang Gyu-ri, Park Ji-won, Roh Ji-sun, Lee Seo-yeon, Lee Chae-young, Lee Na-gyung and Baek Ji-heon as its members.


2PM’s Wooyoung misses you

The six-member boy band from JYP Entertainment held a three-minute livestream ahead of its fan signing event Saturday.

“It’s been a while,” Wooyoung greeted the fans. “The weather in Seoul is wonderful today. I wonder how all of you have been doing. I’ve been doing very well,” he said.

As Wooyoung stepped into the event venue, fans roared for the 2PM star.

“You guys are hiding your faces with cameras, as usual,” Wooyoung joked.

Debuted in 2008, the 10-year-old boy band has no shortage of hit singles, including “Don’t Stop, Can’t Stop,” “10 Out of 10,” “Again & Again,” and “I’ll Be Back” of the band’s Billboard charting album “Still 2:00 PM.”
