K-pop juggernaut Black Pink is coming back with more power than ever.

Black Pink met with the press in southern Seoul Friday, a few hours before the official release of its new EP.

The band’s first EP “Square Up,” consists of four songs -- lead track “Ddu-du Ddu-du,” “Forever Young,” “Really” and “See U Later.” All the tracks were produced by hit producer Teddy, widely known for his previous works with 2NE1.

“The lead track’s title resembles the sound of a gunshot. But it is also like a spell -- a spell to make us strong,” Jennie said. “It has elements of hip-hop, stronger and tougher than previous songs.”

“Previous works were more girly, we tried to be more mature this time,” Jisoo said.

The EP “Square Up” will be released on Friday 6 p.m.
