Singer Chung Ha celebrated her one-year anniversary with fans in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Thursday.

“I remember a year ago at around this time I was feeling grateful for my song ‘Why Don’t You Know’ entering the music charts after the showcase,” she said. “I was with my staff while almost crying back then.”

“With this chance, I want to thank all the staff who work with me,” she said. “More than anyone, I feel grateful to the fans. If not the fans, I wouldn’t be able to do like this.”

The singer said it felt like “being on a roller coaster” the past year. “I rode it finally, I felt the fun, excitement and many different feelings and then it stopped. I feel restless to unfasten the belt and put up the safety bar.”

“It feels as if I’ve been doing something for a long time but it went very fast. It was a fun time,” she said.

“Now I’m stepping forward and anticipating what to ride next. I feel like that,” she said.

She guessed she would be in the same place in another year’s time. “I guess I will celebrate my second-year anniversary while holding V app broadcasts, meeting you with good songs and communicating with you,” she said.

“I hope the next year to be more fruitful than the past year,” she added.

During the broadcast, the singer also revealed the name of her fan club “Byulharang.”

“It came from the Korean words ‘Byulha’ and ‘Harang,’” the singer explained. “‘Byulha’ means the person who shines up above like a star and ‘Harang’ means to fly together.”

In the broadcast, the singer also hinted at a new upcoming release.

“I want to meet you soon with a new song. If you expect too much you may feel disappointed, so as I will work hard, please watch for me. I am working day and night,” she said.

“I will be back with a cool summer song. I will make you feel cool,” she said.

Boy band ONF revealed the name of its fan club during a live broadcast showcase event for its new album, “You Complete Me,” on Naver’s V app Thursday.

The name of the fan club was set as “Fuse.”

“We kept suggesting names. There were so many suggestions, but ‘Fuse’ was the prettiest and most meaningful word among them,” J-Us said.

“So we decided on Fuse. Fuse means the one who completes us and also the one who always protects us and has to be with us,” he said.

“‘Fuse’ is a compound word of ‘off’ from ‘On and Off’ and ‘muse,’” E-tion said, further explaining that a “muse is a thing or person which gives inspiration.”

“We’ve been calling the fans as just ‘fans,’ but I’m glad that now we got the name to call you,” MK said.

The act, consisting of Hyojin, E-tion, J-Us, Wyatt, MK, U and Laun, recently appeared on JTBC competition “Mix Nine,” which featured Yang Hyun-suk, the CEO of YG Entertainment, visiting entertainment agencies around the country in search of new talent.

Hyojin and Laun succeeded in securing spots in the show’s final nine-member group, but its expected debut has been delayed, YG Entertainment announced in early May.

A.C.E

Boy band A.C.E communicated with fans in a “LieV” broadcast held via Naver’s V app Thursday, referring to a broadcast hosted by celebrities lying down.

The band shared its agonies from preparing the repackaged album “A.C.E Adventures in Wonderland,” released the same day.

“A.C.E cares a lot about fashion whenever we release a new album. When we were promoting ‘Cactus,’ we wore short pants and when we were promoting ‘Callin’’ we wore see-through clothing that emphasized the back,” Donghun said.

“This time we wore clothing that emphasizes different parts of the body of each member,” he said.

Jun said it is difficult to sing live while dancing. “I cared about it whenever I prepared for each performance, but it feels like it gets reset every time. I think that is our homework for each album.”

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
