Doyoung and Haechan of boy band NCT 127 greeted fans in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Thursday before hosting Mnet’s weekly music show “M Countdown.”

The two were part of the crew of global hosts for the show. The crew consists of members of K-pop groups who introduce the charts or hold special segments in different languages to better communicate with fans overseas. The show designates different crew members every week.

“Actually, it’s been a long time since I hosted ‘M Countdown,’” Haechan said. “When I hosted it with Jeno last time, I was a bit nervous -- though I’m usually not. As I’m doing it with Doyoung today, I think I can do a better job.”

“I hosted it last week, right?” Doyoung said. “I said goodbye to the staff as if I wasn’t going to see them for a long time but I came back after just one week. It was awkward.”

They also hinted at some of the performances scheduled for the day, including those by SHINee, AOA, Bolbbalgan4, BTS, Samuel and Pristin V.

The two wrapped up the broadcast by asking fans not to miss the music show.
