Jimin of K-pop juggernaut BTS shared his thoughts on returning to the Billboard Music Awards in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Sunday.

The group is currently visiting the US to attend the awards show held Sunday in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand. It was to be aired live on NBC.

“It’s 11:14 p.m. in the US. Tomorrow is the day when we perform at Billboard’s (Music Awards). I’m so excited,” he said. “As we could be here thanks to your support, I felt grateful and wanted to see you so I started the broadcast.”

During the broadcast, the BTS member also shared his thoughts on tracks from the group’s new album “Love Yourself Jeon Tear,” which was released Friday.

“I like all of our songs but I feel differently for each song. Among the songs, there are the songs which especially, how should I say, touches your heart,” he said. “(For me), the first is ‘Road/Path,’ the second is ‘Young Forever’ and the third is ‘Magic Shop.’”

“Magic Shop,” sketched by BTS member Jungkook, is a song tribute to BTS fans ARMY.

“So when I first heard the song, I was like ‘Wow, the song is really good.’ It is awesome that Jungkook sketched it,” Jimin said.

“As you probably know if you’ve heard the song, the song is quite high-pitched,” he said. “(But) the melody was pretty good and as it was the song for you, I tried really hard in recording it.”

“The composer who recorded it together also struggled a lot. He had a hard time as I asked to record the part over and over again,” he said.

“As we worked hard preparing this album, I hope you will like it,” he said.

BTS released its third full-length album “Love Yourself; Tear” on Friday.

Hyeongseop X Euiwoong
Rookie K-pop duo Hyeongseop X Euiwoong celebrated the 200th day since their debut while lying in bed during a broadcast livestreamed on Naver’s V app Sunday.

The two started the broadcast by blowing out the candles on a cake.

“It’s been 200 days already! Time flew!” Hyeongseop said.

“We had a fan signing event today and many fans asked us if we would hold a V app broadcast,” Euiwoong said. “But we kept our secret and finally we are having the surprise broadcast.”

During the broadcast, the two shared their thoughts on celebrating the milestone.

“I expected the 200th day to be a faraway story, a whole new story but it seems it came quite early. It’s already mid-May and a lot of things -- more than expected -- happened,” Hyeongseop said.

“You know the 200th day means it had been six to seven month since we debuted on Nov. 2,” Euiwoong said. “I could feel that time does fly and I thought all the time I spent with you was meaningful -- we’ve always been doing something difficult.”

“Right. I checked our Instagram account last night before I went to sleep and thought that we indeed worked hard,” Hyeongseop said.

Ahn and Lee starred in the second season of Mnet’s survival audition show “Produce 101,” which brought together 101 male trainees from 54 local entertainment companies to compete for spots in a new group. The two failed to secure spots in the final 11-member group but they still gained popularity thanks to the show.

In November last year, the duo dropped their first pre-debut single “The Moment of Memory.”

Singer Jisook of now disbanded girl group Rainbow released a teaser video for her upcoming single “Umbrella” via Naver’s V app Monday.

In the minutelong video, the singer expressed her loneliness after a breakup. She stared forlornly out of a window and sat hunched up.

The lyrics went, “The rain falls/you fall/Worried if the words you told me will get dried up/I’m intentionally getting in the rain/I don’t have an umbrella.”

“Umbrella,” the singer’s first digital single, is set to be released Tuesday at 6 p.m.

The singer debuted in 2009 as a member of girl group Rainbow. She moved to her current agency after the group disbanded in 2016.

In August last year, she made a fresh start as a solo singer, releasing “Baesisi” in collaboration with Jung Il-hoon of boy band BTOB.
