Actor Ha Seok-jin will be a male housekeeper in the upcoming drama series “Your House Helper.”

He will play the role of a professional housekeeper, who does everything from babysitting, cleaning and laundry to cooking in the TV adaptation of a popular web comic series of the same name.

On top of the typical duties of a housekeeper, Ha’s character listens to his client’s worries and consoles them. His client will be played by actress Go Won-hee.

“Household work is a job that saves lives. The story started from the idea that it would be nice if someone could clean my house and life,” the production team said. “Ha’s intelligent, professional image fits the character perfectly.”

The actor, who debuted in 2005, received attention for the hit drama series “Drinking Solo” and variety show “Problematic Men.”

The Wednesday-Thursday drama series is set to air in July on KBS2.
