Yugyeom, Mark and JB of boy band GOT7 communicated with fans in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Saturday.

“We finished the first day of our concert in Thailand and came back to our hotel room,” Yugeom said, starting up the broadcast.

“I hope we didn’t wake you up with the broadcast alarm,” Mark said, broadcasting at 3 a.m. Korean time. “Thank you for coming to watch us at this late night,” Yugyeom added.

Mark then revealed why he shares a room with Yugyeom while other bandmates have individual rooms.

“This is Yugyeom and my room,” Mark said, adding that JB was visiting their room. “It’s only us two who share the room,” Yugyeom confired.

“Right, we usually use individual rooms during tours,” Mark said. “(But) I’m scared when I sleep by myself,” Yugyeom said.

“He’s a scaredy-cat,” Mark remarked. “And I don’t mind sharing a room so here I am.”

“It’s weird but in the hotel, I don’t feel so comfortable. I can sleep well in the dorm,” Yugyeom said. “I guess I get lonely easily.”

“That’s because it’s an unfamiliar place,” JB said.

GOT7 kicked off its “GOT7 2018 World Tour Eyes On You” in Seoul on May 4. On the tour, it will visit 17 cities including Bangkok, Moscow, Berlin, Paris, Taipei, Los Angeles and New York.

K-pop boy band IZ communicated with fans on the way back from the 2018 Dream Concert, in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Saturday.

“Because this is our first time being celebrities, it was our first time to perform at Dream Concert,” Hyunjun said.

“As it rained today, I think I looked great when I played the drum,” Woosu said. “The water (splashed) when I played the drum.”

“You should have worn a white shirt only on this kind of day,” Jihoo said. “Then it wouldn’t be able to be on air,” Hyunjun replied.

“As it rained a lot today, the stage was very slippery,” Hyunjun commented. “We were OK as we are a band, but (I heard) many dance singers slipped today,” Jihoo said.

“When I went out during the closing performance, I wondered how they danced on that kind of stage,” Woosu said.

In the broadcast, the group also expressed gratefulness to fans for supporting the group despite the bad weather.

Boy band IZ consists of vocalist Jihoo, drummer Woosu, guitarist Hyunjun and bassist Junyoung.

The group released its debut EP “All You Want” in August last year. Before its official debut, the teen pop rock band built an underground following by holding more than 100 live shows.

It recently released its second mini album “Angel,” which was produced by Bang Si-hyuk, the famed producer and creator behind K-pop sensation BTS.
