Actor Yoon Shi-yoon kept his promise to hold free hug campaign if his TV Chosun drama “Grand Prince” draws over 5 percent of viewership ratings.

The show reached the milestone on Saturday, drawing 5.6 percent of viewership for its last episode.

He and his co-stars Jin Se-yeon and Joo Sang-wook held the event in front of Gwanghwamun station in Wednesday evening.

After the event, Yoon posted a photo on his Instagram account saying, “I finished the interview and free hug event well today. Thank you for coming all the way to Gwanghwamun.”

He also promoted his upcoming live broadcast to be held on Naver’s V app. The actor is scheduled to appear on the latest episode of “Radio Apart” where the actors become radio DJs.

The episode will air at 9 p.m. Thursday.
