Juyeon of boy band The Boyz communicated with his fans in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Saturday.

During the broadcast, the singer introduced a book he has been reading recently: “Knulp” by Hermann Hesse.

“While I was reading Hermann Hesse’s ‘Demian,’ I wanted to read more books of Hesse. So while I was searching for his other books, I happened to read this book,” he said. “It’s a very short book -- it’s not that long. It is also easy to read,”

“Though it’s short, it has good message and philosophy in it so I wanted to recommend this book to you,” he said.

The Boyz recently released their second mini album “The Start,” with lead track “Giddy Up.”

Having debuted in December, the group consists of Juhaknyeon, Hyunjae, Sunwoo, Younghoon, Hwall, Kevin, Sangyeon, Juyeon, New, Q, Jacob and Eric. Many of the bandmates had enjoyed high popularity even before the group’s debut, as they had already made several media appearances.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
