All 22 members of IOI and Wanna One will appear on “Produce 48,” industry sources said Sunday.

According to the sources, the 22 former “Produce 101” contestants will later star in “Produce 48” to meet trainees and offer them support.

Jeon So-mi and Kang Daniel already took part in the first filming of the TV show on April 11. When the other members are to make their appearances, however, has yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, it has also been reported that 96 “Produce 48” contestants on Sunday had joined the filming of Mnet’s “M! Countdown.”

“Produce 48” is a collaboration between Mnet’s “Produce 101” series and Japan’s AKB48 project. A total of 96 female trainees from Korea and Japan are to compete to become part of a final group. “Produce 48” will premiere in June.
