EXO and TVXQ showed off their close friendship Sunday, with EXO-CBX updating its Instagram account with photos of packaged sandwiches sent by TVXQ in support of the former’s new EP “Blooming Days.”

EXO-CBX is a trio consisting of Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin. Their second EP came out Tuesday. They were to perform new songs from the EP on the live music program “Inkigayo” on Sunday.

TVXQ sent a food truck to the recording station as a surprise gift to the trio. The sandwiches were meant for EXO’s fan club EXO-L, as the message written on the food box read, “Please take good care of Chen-Baek-Xi. TVXQ hyungs support.”

In return, EXO wrote on Instagram, “It should have been the other way around, we should have sent the food truck for losing in the bowling competition in the V app broadcast, but the hyungs said it was fine, then sent us this gift. Taking care of the EXO-Ls for us. ... Thank you so much!”

TVXQ released the album “New Chapter #1 : The Chance of Love” in March, following a yearlong hiatus.
