Ryu Jun-yeol explained the meaning of his autograph in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Thursday.

In the broadcast to update fans and talk about his recent “Little Forest,” co-star Kim Tae-ri asked why he writes “I love you. Please love” alongside his autograph.

“I even wrote the date in the early period of my career,” he said.

“After I got fans and they loved me after starring in ‘Reply,’ I wanted to give back this love,” he said, referring to tvN drama “Reply 1988,” which put Ryu on the path to stardom.

“I started to write the words while thinking about what love is,” he said. “Love is my favorite word. I even want to name my future child ‘Love.’”

“Little Forest,” based on the comic of the same title by Japanese manga artist Daisuke Igarashi, tells the story of three young people who leave the city and move back to their small hometown.
