Chanyeol of boy band EXO shared his thoughts on self-development in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Monday.

In the broadcast, he was asked what he has been up to recently. “I am recently studying various things, such as Japanese and English,” he said.
“I’m developing myself. I thought I need to upgrade myself for the future so I’m trying to do something,” he said. The singer said he thinks people should improve themselves constantly.

“I’m also studying music hard. I’m listening to many songs and trying in various ways. I’m looking at the big picture,” he said.

His group EXO is currently on its world tour “EXO Planet #4 -- THe ElyXiOn.” Its subunit EXO-CBX is currently preparing for a new release aiming for April 10.

GOT7

Boy band GOT7 took to the V app Monday to release a double speed dance practice video of “Look.”

“Look” is the lead track of the group’s eighth EP “Eyes On You” released earlier this month.

After girl group GFriend performed its track “Rough” at double speed on MBC Every 1’s “Weekly Idol” in February 2016 on a fan’s request, the “2X Dance” is now widely considered as a rite of passage for K-pop musicians.

After its release, “Eyes On You” has been enjoying high popularity at home and overseas, topping the weekly album charts by Gaon and Hanteo while securing the No. 2 spot on Billboard’s world albums chart.

GOT7 will kick off a world tour “GOT7 2018 World Tour Eyes On You” in Seoul on May 4-6 and tour around a total of 17 cities including Bangkok, Moscow, Berlin, Paris, Taipei, Los Angeles and New York City.

Samuel

Singer Samuel released a video featuring snippets from his second EP “One” via the V app Monday.

The video played audio samples from the album, which consists of six tracks, including its lead track “One,” “SOS” “Princess,” “I Can’t Sleep,” “Clap Your Hands” and “Wait.”

The new release will mark the singer’s first release in four months since he dropped his first full-length album “Eye Candy” in November last year.

“One” is to go on sale Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Signed with Brave Entertainment, Samuel appeared on the second season of Mnet’s K-pop competition “Produce 101” last year. He finished 18th, failing to secure a spot in the final 11-member group.

Still enjoying popularity thanks to his time on the show, Samuel debuted as a solo artist in August with his first EP, “Sixteen.”

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
