Hwasa of Mamamoo expressed her thanks to fans for supporting the group’s latest album “Yellow Flower” in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Sunday.

On the day, the group wrapped up promotional activities for the album.

“We had the last music show for ‘Yellow Flower,’” she said, opening up the broadcast. “As it is the last night of promotional activities for this album, and to cheer ourselves up, as we have worked hard so far, I am holding the V app broadcast.

The singer attributed the success of the promotional activities to fans.

“In some way, it is the fans who went through more hardships (during the promotion) rather than us,” she said. “We could at least wait in the waiting room or inside the car but the fans had to wait outside. You worked really hard.”

“Also those who supported us from home, you must have streamed our songs and left some good comments for Mamamoo. Thank you so much,” she said. “I think such trivial things are more difficult.”

During the broadcast, she hinted at upcoming solo releases.

“You must be really disappointed as the promotion was not as long as before,” she said. “But we have an enormous plan!”

She said all four Mamamoo bandmates are preparing for solo activities. Solar is preparing for a solo concert, while Moonbyul and Wheein are preparing for solo releases, she said.

“In my case, I do have the music style that I want to pursue but my work is not yet satisfactory,” she said. “But I will aim for (releasing a solo track) this year.”

K-pop duo TVXQ released a set of teaser videos for their upcoming track “The Chance of Love” via the V app Sunday.

The song is the lead track of the group’s eighth full-length album “New Chapter #1: The Chance of Love.”

The new album will mark the duo’s first release since “Rise As God” from July 2015, as well as the first group activity since U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin returned from their mandatory military duties in April and August last year, respectively.

The album is scheduled to be released Wednesday at 6 p.m. At 8 p.m. on the day, the group will also hold a showcase event titled “TVXQ! Welcome Back Party: The Chance of Love” at Blue Square iMarket Hall in Seoul.

AOA

K-pop girl group AOA invited fans to join its official fan club named “Ace of Elvis” via the V app Sunday.

“(We have) the news you Elvis have been waiting for!” Hyejeong sai, opening up the video. “The recruitment of AOA’s official fan club Ace of Elvis will begin soon!” Chanmi said.

It is the first time in two years that the group is recruiting official fan club members since it recruited the first batch of members in February 2016.

“Imagining new precious memories we will make with Elvis, I feel very excited already,” Mina said.

“As we are preparing a lot of things to be together with Elvis, please look forward to it!” Yuna said.

Details about the recruitment are scheduled to be announced on the group’s official website and fan club page.
