K-pop duo TVXQ hinted at its upcoming eighth full-length album “New Chapter #1: The Chance of Love” in a live broadcast on Naver’s V app Monday.

“I think (the concept of the new album) is ‘magazine,’” U-know said. “It is an album that depicts TVXQ’s fashion and music like a magazine.”

When a fan asked whether the new album had a mature, sexy theme, he replied that the concept of new album is “city man.”

“It does have a theme of mature sexiness but we also tried to be dandy.”

“The new album contains various appealing sides of TVXQ. Sexiness is one of those charms,” Max said.

The new album will be released on March 28.

Actor Choi Daniel belatedly celebrated White Day in a live broadcast on Naver’s V app Monday.

While Valentine’s Day is celebrated in Korea by women giving chocolates to men, White Day (March 14) is celebrated by men giving candies to women as confessions of love or tokens of thanks.

In the broadcast, the actor prepared White Day gifts for his fans, putting candies and an instant photo with his autograph in a box and tying the box with a ribbon.

While wrapping the box, the actor also shared an anecdote on White Day from his school days.

“I went to coed school when I was a middle school student,” he said. “We did secret angel games and celebrated both White Day and Valentine’s Day. Couples who had been dating for 22 days also celebrated the ‘Two-two Day.’”

Secret angel games work a bit like secret Santas, with people buying gifts and doing nice things for each other without the recipient knowing.

“I once made a cake by myself by making pancakes and putting whipped cream on them. But because I put the whipped cream on hot pancakes, it all melted down so I had to eat it all,” Choi said.

Singer Yoon Hui-seok opened up about signing with the new agency in a live broadcast on Monday.

Singers Jang Moon-bok, Seong Hyun-woo and Yoon talked about their recent track “Real Fact” from Jang’s first mini album “Peeps.” The three shared the behind-the-scenes story of the recording of the track.

“Yoon joined the recording as soon as he signed with the company,” Jang said.

“It was hectic as I joined (the recording) right away but I was glad that I could meet the fans and I could show my new self quickly,” Yoon said.

Seong Hyun-woo said, “Yoon Hui-seok was dying to meet his fans. I think he could meet his fans soon because he was desperate and tried hard.”

Yoon appeared on the second season of Mnet’s survival audition show “Produce 101” last year as a trainee from Jellyfish Entertainment. In December, he left the agency saying that he would like to focus on his study but later in February, he signed with his current agency ONO Entertainment, saying that he wants to pursue a career in music.
