Girl group Black Pink went on a trip to Jeju Island in the latest episode of the group’s weekly reality show “Black Pink House” aired via Naver’s V app Saturday.

As soon as the Black Pink bandmates arrived at the island, they headed to Dongmun Market, located on the northern part of the island, saying, “Let’s fill our stomach first.”

At the market, they constantly ate food such as dekopon juice, green tangerine juice, tteokbokki, fish cake bar, pig-shaped bread and dolhareubang (stone grandpa) bread. Dolhareubangs are large rock statues found on Jeju Island.

“I don’t know whether it’s because it’s Jeju or the store was good but the rice cake was really high quality,” Rose said about tteokbokki.

“We are like shooting ‘Tasty Guys 2,’” Jisoo said referring to Comedy TV’s popular eating show featuring comedians Kim Joon-hyun, Yu Mun-sang, Mun Se-yun and Kim Min-kyung, who are all popular for eating a lot.

“I want to recommend Dongmun market as it is easy to contact Korean culture and the price is also reasonable,” Jennie said.

Boy band GOT7 released a video featuring snippets from its eighth mini album “Eyes On You” via the V app at midnight.

The video played audio samples from the album, which consists of seven tracks, including its lead track “Look,” the pre-released track featuring Hyolyn “One and Only You,” “The Reason,” “Hesitating,” “Us” and “Thank You.”

“Eyes on You” is to be released on Monday at 6 p.m.

On the day, the boy band will hold a showcase event “GOT7 Eyes On You Live Premiere” at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul at 8:30 p.m. which will be broadcast live on Naver’s V app.

Eric Nam
Singer Eric Nam greeted fans on his way to Mexico in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Saturday.

“We’re about to take off,” he said at the beginning of the broadcast. The broadcast was held inside the plane.

“I will finally begin my filming in Mexico. I will be back with good videos,” he said. He was heading to the country to film his new music video.

“Everyone, the songs on the new album are awesome. I repeatedly say this but they are really good. You can look forward to it,” he said.

When a fan suggested that he seems to have a swollen face, he said, “Yes, I have a swollen face. It’s been a long time since I slept in bed.”

“And also to be frank, I put on some weight. I had to lose it but I had too much potatoes in ‘Nowhere,’ I put on more weight,” he said referring to his recent MBC TV show “Wizard of Nowhere.”

Nam will release his new mini album in April. It will mark the singer’s new release in two years since he dropped “Good For You” in March 2016.
