Singer BoA revealed her childhood memory in the latest episode of her variety show “Keywod #BoA” released via Naver’s V app Thursday.

“You know I once learned Taekwondo,” she said while talking with comedians Kim Yeong-cheol and Lee Soo-guen and actor Lee Sang-yeob.

“I was a yellow-belt holder and this red-belt boy bothered me so much,” she said. Her friends told her it might have been because the boy liked her but she said she did not know that back then.

“(One day) he picked a fight with me. So I punched him without mercy,” she said. “He was using his Taekwondo skills but I just hit him.”

“He got bloody nose on his both nostrils!” she said. “So the director of the gym hit me.”

“In elementary school, the girls were often the school’s most powerful ones,” Lee Soo-geun said.
