BoA spoke to her fans on her way to a fan signing event in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Wednesday.

The fan signing event was held in the afternoon on a weekday when most people are either at work or at school, but the singer then remembered that students will go back to school. In Korea, schools begin their academic year in March.

“Don’t students cram all the vacation homework into the time just before school begins?” she said. “When I was in elementary school, I crammed my homework.”

When a fan suggested writing all her diary entries at the same time as one of the acts of cramming before school begins, she said, “Right! Like writing a lie that you went somewhere even though you didn’t”

“You become a novelist when you write overdue diaries,” she said.

“And also writing book reviews! This is a secret but I copied the summaries actually (when writing the reviews),” she said.

“You can’t sleep well with two days before school because you have to do your homework,” she said.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
