Nichkhun of boy band 2PM said he would like to hold a fan meeting event in California in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Friday.

At the beginning of the broadcast, the singer announced that he will hold a fan meeting event in Bangkok, Thailand on March 3.

“If you can come abroad, you may come! But you will have to pay for the tickets yourself,” he said archly. “Junho and Chansung will also come. Come people! Thailand is good!”

Talking about fan meeting, a fan asked him to hold a fan meeting event also in California.

“I would love to go to California. Actually, my Cali friend -- my high school friend -- came over to my house yesterday. We were talking about Cali and … Oh my god I want to go!” he said. “Someday, soon, (we may hold a fan meeting event in California.)”

Singer Sunmi released Friday behind-the-scenes footage from the 7th Gaon Chart Music Awards, which was held on Feb. 14 at Jamsil Arena, Seoul.

“I’m very glad as it’s my first time getting an award at the Gaon Chart Music Awards as solo,” she said at the beginning of the video.

“(During the rehearsal) during the opening, the MCs introduced me with the modifier ‘sexy diva.’ I felt so awkward, so I was like ‘Argh!’” the singer said contorting her face.

“There were GOT7 members next to me, so I asked them to cover me if I recoil or if my face gets contorted from hearing the word ‘sexy diva,’” she said.

At the award ceremony, she was awarded the Singer of the Year Award for August over boy band Wanna One.

“I think this is a very meaningful position. I think it’s more precious as this award is not only from fans who are here now but also from the general public,” she said during her acceptance speech.

“I think last year was a year when female solo artists were very active. I hope female solo artists to be active in this year as well. I will also return with good music,” she said.

Golden Child
Boy band Golden Child looked back on the promotional activities for the group’s latest EP “Miracle” in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Friday.

In the broadcast, the Golden Child bandmates talked about their most memorable moments.

They suggested the day they released the new album and a day when they went to Busan.

Lee Jang-jun said he threw his coins into the water and made a wish. “I wished for our ‘It’s U’ to become successful. I also promoted the song there,” he said.

“It’s U” is the lead track from the group’s album.

Golden Child debuted with its first EP “Gol-Cha!” in August last year as an 11-member act consisting of Lee Dae-yeol, Y, Lee Jang-jun, Tag, Bae Seung-min, Bong Jae-hyun, Kim Ji-beom, Kim Dong-hyun, Hong Joo-chan, Choi Bo-min and Park Jae-seok.

Earlier this month, Park left the group for health reasons.
