K-pop girl band TWICE will stage a series of concerts in Seoul in May, its talent agency said Monday.

JYP Entertainment said the concerts, titled "TWICELAND ZONE 2 : Fantasy Park," will take place at Jamsil Arena in eastern Seoul from May 18-20 -- the band's first concerts in the country in 11 months.

Last year, the popular band held two domestic concerts: "TWICELAND -The Opening-" in February and "SIGNAL ENCORE TWICELAND" in June. Since then, the band has gone on tour in Thailand, Singapore and Japan.

The agency said the group plans to make an overseas tour later this year.

Since it debuted in 2015 with "OOH-AHH," the 9-member act soon became arguably the country's most popular girl group with such hit songs as "Cheer up," "TT," "Knock Knock," "Signal," "Likey" and most recently "Heartshaker." (Yonhap)
