Go Na-eun, formerly known as Rainbow‘s Woori, is to debut on screen through horror film “Whispers” (working title).

Her agency, Wellmade Yedang, announced the news Tuesday. “Go will star in the film ‘Whispers,’ taking on a completely different character from those of before,” the company said.

Go is to play a character who accidentally enters the House of Horrors at a closed theme park, starting the horror story.

The singer-turned-actress debuted in 2009 as a member of K-pop girl group Rainbow. After the disbandment of the group in 2016, she has been pursuing her career as an actress. She is currently starring in MBN’s sitcom drama “Yeonnam-dong 539.”

The film “Whispers” is expected to hit the theaters this summer.
