Red Velvet tops five local charts, iTunes charts of 16 countries

Girl group Red Velvet claimed the top spot on five domestic music charts Tuesday for its new song "Bad Boy."

"Bad Boy" is the title track off the repackaged version of the group's second full album "The Perfect Red Velvet," which was released Monday at 6 p.m.

As of 2 p.m., the song ranked first in the five charts of local music streaming services, such as Genie, Bugs and Soribada, beating out singer-actress Suzy's new single "Holiday" released at the same time.

Also, the album topped iTunes Albums Charts in 16 countries, including the Netherlands, Finland, Slovenia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore and the Philippines. (Yonhap)
