Red Velvet has upped fans’ expectations, releasing teaser photos of Wendy and Joy for the group’s upcoming “The Perfect Red Velvet,” a repackaged edition of its second full-length album.

The photos, released via the group’s official webpage, featured the two bandmates posing against different pink and dark green backgrounds, and mysteriously gazing into the camera.

The four-piece group’s upcoming “The Perfect Red Velvet,” which will be released at 6 p.m. Monday via local music streaming sites, will feature three new songs, including lead track “Bad Boy” and nine songs from the original album. “Bad Boy,” a blend of hip-hop and R&B will touch on a tip-toeing relationship between a man and woman attracted to each other.


The new tracks will include “All Right,” a disco-tinged upbeat pop tune with a message of hope, and “Time to Love,” an R&B ballad about budding love.

“Perfect Velvet” had topped iTunes K-pop album charts in 13 countries and became the first album by a K-pop girl group to take the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s world albums chart in November last year.
